Is HH considered an Expat community?
I was wondering if people consider HH an expat community? I would make the assumption that it would take several hundred up to a few thousand expats to create a critical mass for a community. Can anyone provide an estimate of the expat population in HH?
Re: Is HH considered an Expat community?
I'd say so, there are a good 3-4000 expats living here, and plenty of clubs, societies and venues for them.

I've been looking for it and can't find it now, but I read an article about Hua Hin a month or so ago that said the population was 85,000; 3,500 of which are full time ex-pat residents. It also stated that many foreigners have part time or second homes here so that the number of expats goes up to around 10,000 during the winter months of December through February.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Yes, I know large numbers of people, like myself, who are based in Hua Hin and working away and if you add to that all the retired Scandinavians who winter in the town, 10,000 seems a reasonable figure.
