After Sales Service

Post by ricardo »

I have just had a kitchen fitted in our house in Hua Hin. I used the Cabinet Company who did an excellent job from start to finish. Yes they are more expensive - but if you are not in Hua Hin or don't want the headache of watching over the builders - then the extra money is well worth it.

The only hitch was the appliances I bought from the Sony shop on Petchkasem Road. I ordered 4 appliances a microwave, electric oven, gas hob and a hood, 2 months ago and paid a 20% deposit. Last week I checked with them and all was OK - and we arranged for delivery on the 7th. On the 7th morning they call us to say they don't have the microwave and it it is a discontinued line line !!!! Can we choose another one.
:cuss:
We chose another model and managed at the last minute to re-adjust the plans as the kitchen was to be fitted the next day.
The oven came without any instuction manual.
The hob we ordered was 2 gas rings and 1 electric. Opened the box - 3 gas rings (the electric line had already been run). We actually wanted a 3 gas ring hob originally and were told they didn't have any.

Another case of no after sales service. Once they have your money its concentrate on the next customer. This actually surprised me because they have in the past always been OK when I have bought other items.

If you've got any paperwork, go back to said shop, demand a refund and dump the stuff on their doorstep.
It may not be convenient for you, but they'll probably get the message. :cuss:

Welcome Mr Interesting,
Have you ever bought a house/had one constructed here? If you had, I'm sure you would understand the frustrations.
Then again, perhaps we'll all be enlightened if you deign to tell us about your dynamic domestic routines.
Bet you're a dab hand with a feather duster, eh? :D

Completely off topic, I know, but I was wondering if Mr Interesting used to be a profesional snooker player?

OH DEAR OH DEAR MR NOT SO INTERESTING could you just crawl back under your little stone ,
although you do share the name of a famous snooker player He is without a doubt more interesting than yourself and does contribute to a usefull life,
where as you possibly or certainly have no play mates and have to make snide comments for attention

As for the sony shop they seem to always have a good range of end of line products and of course possibly the most expensive place in hua hin
go back and create a fuss you paid for items that have not been delivered
