At long last, the message seems to be sinking in, and they're taking a serious look at introducing goal line technology. There's a meeting of the big knobs today in that footballing Mecca of Newport.

Platini was leaving a conference yesterday and a reporter asked him about introducing it, he said he doesn't want it.
