Are these people completely insane? Do they have any idea what this child is going to go through when he/she is over, say, 5 years old? This is what happens when people don't have enough to worry about...

These people has lost their freaking minds, or are on drugs.
Of course, no-one considers what the child might think/want. Rather selfish really of the parents to just pander to their own fashions and also highlights their psychological shortcomings.

Unless the parental units raise him in a vacuum, encounters with a new person outside the family may usually teach him that he is the sole performer in a freak show. He'll get to see his parents dealing with those who want to know his sex. Until he understands language he'll see that when he meets new people their body language goes weird, they get puzzled looks (or burst out laughing) and look at him with pity or disbelief or studying him like he was a show dog being judged or as if deciding whether to call Child Protective Services.

The world has gone mad
Try keeping under five year olds quiet about anything! The parents are abusing their children by not allowing them to be brought up in a normal way. Imagine if it is a boy
What will happen on the 5th birthday? Mum & Dad will ask "Well Storm, you are now 5 years old, what would you like to be, a boy or a girl?"....What will they do if Storm says a girl? Wow! Big problem
Storm has a willy! Also I hope that if Storm is a boy he will notice that he has a willy...most little boys do by this age!
Another point...how will they address the child ... can you get "it" something insted of can you get "him/her" something. It is very difficult to have a conversation without using him/her when talking about them ...Just weird
These people are completely mental in my opinion!
