I'm going to try the Anglers Rest when I get the chance, I've been looking at pictures online and it looks very nice.
Having been brought up in the 1970s, I'm not really a "foodie" type person and I'm more interested in ambiance and surroundings than the actual food and that looks promising.

Here is another breakfast outside of Hua Hin, it's at the Koh Hop Bar in Suvarnabhumi Airport by gates ABC.
It cost about 400bt with a decent coffee which isn't bad for airside in an international airport, a McDonald's is a similar price.

What are the brown things? Potato croquettes? If they are, I haven't had croquettes for years, and they certainly look nice.

In the US, those are called tater tots. Very popular, but I’ve never seen them served for breakfast. Taste about the same as hash browns, so I guess that’s alright. Looks pretty tasty, except for that cooked tomato, and the eggs are a bit overcooked. EDIT: never mind, I enlarged the photo, and those eggs looked to be cooked nicely.

I thought they were croquettes but I don't remember what the description was on the menu, I chose by the picture!

I guess as airport breakfasts go it isn’t too bad, although for my liking it looks a little “plasticky”.

I don't see Deli 88 mentioned very often. They do quite a good English breakfast with fried bread if required.

Yes, I'd been up since 04:30 and by the time I ate that around 10:30, I was glad to have found any breakfast at all and I don't think anywhere else even does a cooked breakfast.

Sorry to be Peter Pedantic but for anyone talking to others or searching this place on google maps etc its not Deli 88 but Route 88 Deli

Good breakfast I agree, not so good if you're on foot walking up that steep hill! ImageImage

Looking at their menu pricing and judging by their photos (potentially a bit misleading), but I’d say it deserves to be very busy!!

Had breakfast at Patty's Corner Cafe today as I'd seen their FB posts.

It's pretty much opposite the number one cafe, next to the old railway station

The food was good, I'd certainly eat there again. See attached photo

For perspective it wasn't quite up there with my personal best(Nits) but was on a par with say 99 cafe.

Has a cosy cafe feel inside with aircon and tables outside.

The price was 190 baht including tea/coffee. There's a larger option at 240/250 if I recall.

First incredible fact..... it's over a month since we've had a post on this one.

There's a new kid on the block, and we went to give it a go this morning. T&Ms on Soi 94 opposite the Amara Hotel, situated in part of the Hua Hin Property Building.

Just 2 outside tables and 4 tables inside the very clean, air conditioned office. Nicely decorated.

My son and I opted for the large breakfast with coffee. We both chose scrambled eggs. The only thing I can say is, "WOW!!!" We both have a new Hua Hin favourite. It was perfect (although too much for me - not that my son was complaining - he took what I couldn't eat).

Firstly the sausages. Quite large, not the style I would normally go for, but delicious.
Next the bacon. Thick slices of back bacon. Not the full bacon flavour, but very nice.
Scrambled eggs. Cooked exactly the way I like them.
Baked beans. The small variety, but nice. I've said previously I've gone native regarding beans, so would have preferred Thai beans, but the beans served were good.
Mushrooms. Fried with onions. Would have liked a few more, but I already had a lot more food than I could actually consume
Tomato. OK, fried tomato is fried tomato.
Hash browns. Frozen, but nicely cooked.
Coffee. Quite strong, but nice.
Orange. Not watered down by ice cubes, etc. Cold and nice flavour.
Baguette. Fresh from the oven. A delicious substitute for toast, served with butter and a nice home made jam. The baguette was a really nice touch, and made a very nice breakfast, special.

Cost was 259฿. This was my first time, and I always go large the first time. In future I'd go small, which I think cost 199฿.

My wife opted for a Tuna Baguette, which she said was lovely:

My DIL went for the Nacho Set, and didn't leave a bit:

The whole lot with a banana smoothie and a bottle of water came to 866฿, which we thought was very reasonable.

The main cook, Mel also makes fantastic birthday cakes to your bespoke direction - we've had a few in the past, and they were very special.

This place has been open less than a month, and I hadn't gone before today because I was worried about parking. I walked down today, and was pleased to see there is a lot of parking on waste ground behind the weed shop next door.

As I've said, my new favourite in Hua Hin, and even walking it is only 5 minutes from home. Perfect, a good addition to Hua Hin's breakfast scene.

Yes, T&M, I’ve been seeing their posts on FB over the past month or two, and their food looks really, really good. I’m very much looking forward to giving them a try.
