Affordable laptops

OK, not talking about the mini net-books, but 14 inch viewing screen and above. There are some good laptops out there now and some fairly reasonable prices too.

Last week, I bought a Samsung RV413 and is widely available in most places...

Spec is.......

Processor 1.6 Mhz Dual Core/2 logical processors
2 GB RAM
640 GB Hard drive storage
Full HD LCD screen
USB 2
3 USB ports
Digital live cam
+other stuff

Cost 13,500 baht including all the free give-away stuff they chuck in plus the transport bag.

Works like a charm, very happy with it to be fair. LCD screen is cool as.

Some good deals around at the moment.

There's also an Acer/Lenovo one up for grabs at the moment that's close to the same spec for a similar price, just a bit less hard drive space, 500 GB I think, about 13,000.

That Samsung sounds like a good birthday gift to myself ... where did you purchase it please?

I didn't buy it in HH but I think it will be around in many places, try the local IT Plaza or where the tech stuff is on a decent price around HH which might need a local digital wiz to point you to for in HH, maybe even perhaps MV, but it was in a local mall where I am at that price so I bet it's around all over the place in Thailand at similar prices. Try the local place where the Thais like to buy their digital stuff.
