I got a house and need to set up telephone line with internet... I called up True and they said they can only provide the internet so i need to find a phone company..anyway advice??

There are two phone companies: TOT and TT&T. Some areas are covered by only one of these, some by both. Both will also provide an internet connection.

A bit confusing the way it is done. Where I am in Soi 6 there is a fibre optic cable, but the line from the "big box" out in the Soi is the original copper wire. I also have an IP telephone, and the line can not be used for a fax machine. My Internet "service" is 3BB, but the line evidently does not belong to 3BB, as they will not accept direct debit payment from the Bank, as it is two separate services, BUT, I can pay both in cash on the one account!

I do not use it much as not there all the time, but compared to the original direct line it is probably a bit faster and never drops out. Phone calls are still charged at the same rate as previously.

3BB put my internet in in 3 days! Did not bother with telephone though I use my mobile

Soi 39... same day from 3BB. Internet only.
