Sheffield FC sell football's first ever rulebook

Looks like the world's oldest football club is selling the silverware, so to speak, shame that they have to do this to survive. I didn't know it was Sheffield FC that was the oldest one as previously thought it was all the more glamorous old church teams that played each other in the 18th-19th centuries like Villa/Liverpool/Notts County or Forrest etc that have churches close to their original grounds, don't mind to be stood corrected and there's a decent list of old clubs on Wikipedia too.

However, if it means they survive for the foreseeable future then.....maybe it's needed in these times and sentimentality is a thing that belongs in the past.
