Can you get dishwasher salt in Hua Hin. Indeed, do you need to use it?

I am sure that you can get dishwasher salt in Hua Hin but it will not be sold as such. You will probably find it (if you know the chemical name) in a hardware shop under the guise of a bikini detergent or drain cleaner.
As posted before, dishwashers in Thailand have two legs and various other human like appendages (depending upon your taste). They are fairly efficient at dishwashing but never quite finish the job. The one bonus (or maybe not) is that you do not have to keep hunting around for salt and cleaning fluid. All you have to do is go to the ATM frequently.
The downside is that when you get one you have to maintain many related items which can become costly. But do not fear money goes on trees in Farangland which is why we never have to work and can spend all our lives on holiday in the land of paradise.

Dishwasher detergent, salt and finish tablets are available in Pure Electric (adjacent to INDEX LIVING MALL). Detergent is also available in Hua Hin Shopping Mall.Guess wrote:I am sure that you can get dishwasher salt in Hua Hin but it will not be sold as such.
