I just returned from the Prachuap Khiri Khan Singkhon Immigration Office and received what is commonly referred to as a "Retirement Visa". I have made a web page of what I've done and the results.

What a run around
Well....I must say that it was easier for me...My first one was in Honolulu at the thai office and I did the second one in BKK at the Immi Pit near Silom.
Without getting into the process etc and some variences in rules there is one point that needs to be made here....The real thing you need is a Multiple Re-Entry Permit. Enter on 0-A Long Stay Retiremen visa is it shut. You cna stay but not return w/o the permit. I have entered the Kingdon about 10 times and the number in the visa section of the TM card is to be the Re-Entry Permit number. On you first entry on a 0-A long stay you'll be allowed to stay untill the end of that visa. When you get the Re-Enty permit they dated mine for 1 year from the application date no the day I go my visa. In one case it was about two months after the end date of m Visa.. Again, for multiple re-entrys thsy want to see you reenty permit and that number!!!!
