Just a quick mention of congratulations to Zambia. Penalty shootout is never a good way to win anything, but it's a win. A happy nation, and a happy result in the memory of the 1993 team that died in the plane crash. Pete

Yep, not a great game to be honest but i was glad Zambia won & i think overall, they deserved it.
They were a team of unknowns compared to Ivory Coast & massive underdogs.
Highlights for me was Drogba missing a penalty in normal time
& correctly predicting our own Gervinho would be the villain in the sudden death phase of the shoot out, he looked a bag of nerves 
One person that should be proud of his performance was the referee, i don't think he got a decision wrong all game.

Ah Gervinho, on international duty and still skipping past umpteen defenders, getting into the box, then, erm what do I do now?
