Where are the clear seas?
Just a brief infotorial which can be added to as other places are discovered. Probably surprising to some that the below is at the Sattahip Thai Navy base. Facilities and restaurant right near the shoreline, and a variety of tropical fish nibbling at your toes. They take real good care of the environment there, whereas the surrounding municipal town beaches are a mess. Hats off to the Navy boys. The water looks great Pete. It would be nice if we had clear water like that here around Hua-Hin. Saying that, I can live with murky water, but it's the mess and the the hundreds upon hundreds of poorly maintained beech chairs and tables that really put me off. Even Takiap beach has gone that way now. What a shame.
