Balance sheet/annual company accounts

Post by barrys »

Could any of you small businesses out there please tell me how much you're currently being charged for the drawing up and signing off of a company's annual accounts - got a feeling someone wants to overcharge us :?

I have a 1 million baht company and have been paying about 14,000. Some people apparently are getting it done for 10-11,000.

You will need to verify what I say, but a while back I was told that companies with income below Baht 2 million do not need an accountant to sign off the Balance Sheet.

I'm guessing the 1 Million Baht Company is the registered Capital, not the Income

Can you elaborate on this please?

I think that you are correct Winkie

Hua Hin Fishing Lodge Co., Ltd. is a 2 Million Baht registered capital Company

We most certainly do not make 2 Million Baht / year - If we did I would not be here in Hanoi!

We produce annual accounts signed off by an accountant - if we don't - I don't get my work permit

Yes. People commonly refer to their companies in that way. My balance sheet is quite straightforward because I have no employees.

Apologies HHF members. I was totally misinformed (not an unusual thing).
