I think this site has a rental section, which is probably kept up to date, for searches.

Personally when renting I have always just driven around the area I want to stay and written down numbers from boards hanging on gates or waited outside and called. Often if you wait outside, the landlord will be close by and able to show you around there and then / all quick decisions. I realize this technique is not for everyone but I just cant stand faffing around and this way you can usually find a property in the afternoon.

You were already given the link to your post in the classified section, here it is again: http://www.propertyhuahin.net/property.php?type=H&for=R

If there is nothing suitable there have a read of this guide to finding your own rental: http://www.expathuahin.com/renting-huahin.php

Are you willing to live in Cha Am? We took a six month rental on a brand new 2 bed house on a development called Baan Usabai and we have a dog. We are hoping to move out mid-Aug, but if you need somewhere before then, we could ask the agent if she has any other properties available.

I wonder if you're making a mistake by asking about pets in advance?
Surely if it's not specified in the contract, it's 'up to you'?
Not advice, just a thought.
This is the way

I think you will find that most people who rent out property have it in the contract. “No Pets”, we have 11 houses and we don’t rent out to pet owners, never have and never will, just not worth the hassle.
