New forum?

Post by caller »

Just a thought and I mentioned it on the thread about BWF, which I put on the Thai Life forum simply as I wasn't sure where it really fitted (all's well by the way).

But there have been general threads about Doctors, Dentists (and I note the reference on the expat froum), a lot on jellyfish, how safe is it to swim in the sea etc (or was that another forum)?

So just wondered if the time was right or if there was a need for a new forum, something along the lines of Health and wellbeing in HH, or just health issues?

Or if not, adding health issues as a topic to one of the current forums to help idiots like me? :?

Just a thought.

Not a bad idea, if theres enough demand I dont mind adding another section.

However we thought the recently added Thai and Womens sections were in demand and postings in them have been thin on the ground.

On the subject of new threads, judging by some of the sad posts I read, I would think a thread on LBFMs might be appropriate. Seems to be a favourite topic.

Dave

Why don't you move the reply to FOO - it's off topic and (sorry Guess) rather silly.

Unfortunately, whilst I understand the need to keep the Forum lighthearted, there seems to be a lot of bunkum creeping in. I just wish I could come up with a constructive suggestion to help out - without resorting to the 'thought police'.

Before this thread turns vulgar ... just Google it.

I'll vote for a new topic with health related questions.

I suggest that you divide up "ask the expats" into more specific topics, as it is now, its just too wide. Half the questions on the forum would fit in there and that may be one reason the same questions keep popping up all the time. (people, myself included, are too lazy to use the search function).

Arrr!!!

Now we have it. If it's a topic on health then I am for 100% in favor.

Unfortunately, the acronym BWF came up in Google as Britsh Woodworking Foundation, British Walking Foundation and a US garbage collector.

You see, I am not only stupid but dickslextic as well.

What the friggin 'ell is Black Water Fever. Is that something that Chelsea supporters get when returning home after the Saturday game and all the bridges have been blown apart by Cornish seperatists or even just Battersea pissartists.

Anybody got a remedy for eel stings that does not involve urination (well I suppose I could just about handle it if it were a female).

Absolutely. There are some posters on this forum that keep going off topic.
