Too expensive, and I don't think he'll get up to speed for half a season. Mental crap going on with this guy now IMO. Pete

FYI, I just opened a second account under my daughters name. I did an "auto-complete" to select the entire team, and will probably do that for all transfers throughout the season. I want to see how an "auto" account fares as compared to those we sweat and work at daily. Pete

I have to decide whether I want to come last again.
Maybe I'll put a bit more thought and effort into this coming year's competition - and change the team's name?

I've picked my team. I've a feeling it could change substantially before the first game though, depending on PL transfers (not game tfers)

Same, mine is very much preliminary. Always enjoy this though even I always do pretty average.

Next year, always next year.

If any of you in the UK know of a publication that runs a continuously updated transfer chart up to the start of the season, please post the link. Thanks. Pete

Thanks BB, that will do it. Chelsea is supposed to be getting some big gun midfielder from the Netherlands somewhere but I don't see him. Hazard is his name...maybe...I'll have to look it up again. Pete

Two I spotted, Yakubu and Drogba I have to chuckle given my warped sense of humor. "Sit down, son....you're moving to China...." :( Pete

Pete,
His name is Eden Hazard. He's a Belgian who has transferred from Lille in France....so you are nearly correct ! :D
I think he's valued at 9.5m......but the first gameweek Chelsea and Reading have two fixtures.....so you have to consider their players and bear in mind its an easy 3 points for Reading ! 8)
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

Nearly Pete, the squads on the Fantasy game are pretty upto date, Borini is already at Liverpool for example.

Hazard is a very very talented kid who did well in France, his 1st season in England is a different kettle of fish.
