Hua Hin City FC

Post by Big Boy »

I saw them promoting this team at Market Village a couple of weeks ago, but didn't have time to find out what it was all about.

Who are they?

Where do they play?

Do you have to pay to watch them?

Are they any good?

Do they play in a league?

"PLEASE CHEER UP" - great slogan! Too bad nobody told the players when they took the club photo... :(

Is that definite? I've waded through their website, but it doesn't really mention where they play. From what I can gather, the map is to their training ground.

I've merged your question into an earlier thread, which has a link.

I've been reading a local 'freebie' magazine today, and it states:
Hua Hin Football Club's games are usually on weekends, played at the Pranburi's Thanarat Army Headquarters. Fixtures are highlighted on sign posts in town.
OK, I know it's close season now, but I'd love to go and watch them. It doesn't matter if the standard isn't that good (I'm used to it  ). It would just be nice to form some sort of allegiance with my local club.

So, come on you guys who live in Pranburi or Pranburi City, hows about sharing some of this info with us so that we can all come and watch?

BB, there has been a couple of the big billboard style posters fastened to lamp posts a couple of times over the last few months advertising their games with a player in a blue kit if I remember correctly. I did take a photo of one to ask my wife where they played but I cannot remember where she said. They used the same poster and attached a white paper strip at the bottom with the date of the match.

OK, thanks. I did see the posters scattered around Hua Hin. At the time I had assumed that the previous information on here was correct, and that they were playing in Bangkok. I'll be more vigilant next season, and may even furnish the forum with match reports. Has to be a lot more interesting/relevant than the Premiership :run:
