101 reasons to love living in Hua Hin

Post by wenshidi »

I saw someone start a similar list for another location on another forum and they had reached 101 in no time.

I wonder if GZ has so much to offer that we can achieve the same results here.

Let me start the ball rolling with a few of my favourites.

1. Cheap public transport. Sonthaews around town, mini buses up to BKK and the train to the other provinces.

2. Fabulous seafood all year round.

3. Polite schoolchildren, a seemingly extinct species back in the west.

4. Exotic fresh fruit at cheap prices, from longan to snakefruit, from sapadillos to breadfruit, I love the healthy lifestyle.

5. Thai smiles, making my day, every day of the year.

6. New Makro in Bor Fai, great choice and great prices, and no I am not a stock holder ;-)

OK, so that is six from me, now over to you and lets see how long it takes to get to 101......

22. It's where I've lived for a long time.
With it's ups and downs, it's still a reasonable place to live.

26. If you want a beer with your breakfast, you can get! Not going to be told "we can't serve alcohol until 10am"!
PS, it does make your cornflakes a bit soggy!!
