interest rate 8%. 15 month deposit

My Sister in-law works for a bank which has a branch locally, at present they are offering 8% for a 15 month deposit. For more detail I ask you contact me, the reason being my sister in-law gets point for new customers. All transactions will be done in the branch.

I think you will find its a staggered interest rate and is actually over the 15months around 3%,a lot of the banks offer these promotions,it catches alot of peoples attention,but sadly just a gimmick.These are the going rates at the moment

Would agree with the above, Kasikorn had one advertising 9% interest however you don't get anywhere near that and what you do get is subject to 15% tax.
