uniodized salt where are you hiding?

Any Ideas where to find it in HH? I bought some rock salt on 35 highway (halfway to BKK ) but it is also has iodine. I'm not looking for kosher salt but uniodized one but any other salt then iodized will work.

You can buy Saxa (brand name) uniodized salt in many of the supermarkets in Hua Hin. The iodized one is has blue lettering on the plastic container, but the one you want has red lettering. It's table salt, not rock salt, and Mr.VS uses it for his cheeses.

If it is for curing, then the sea salt on the highway is OK. Commercial Iodised salt allegedly imparts a metallic hint to cured fish and meats - but I have had no issue with the Thai sea salt from the local salt pans. If not, then as VS says - red packs - but even then you have to be careful. Some of the sea salt ends up in red packs too, as does glutamate.

I bought it a couple a month ago and it was in the bottom of the shelf to the left but maybe its out of stock.
