Have you set up a company yet, or will a thai person be the owner?
If you have a company I would suggest you have a meeting with your law office people and let them help you with this.

(I bought my house through a constructing company who took care of the paperworks, but even then I had to some works of my own).

It's quite amazing how many forms you need to fill out, not to mention all the needed documentation and copies of about everything they want.

Kaokalok,

I think you will find the procedure in Hua Hin is very different and very much more complex than in Korat.

Please PM me if you wish me to pass on my recent experience of dealing with the land office. Alternatively you may wish to study this site www.coolthaihouse.com

Yes Dougal, you are quite right.
I've made 1 house in Hua Hin and 1 house in Khorat.
The needed paperworks in HH is just stunning compared with Khorat.
If you're in it by your own; get a lawyer to help you out.
