Dog Meat Trade Petition
A GRATEFUL GUEST OF THE KINGDOM OF THAILAND & HER PEOPLE
Re: Dog Meat Trade Petition
Done. Happy to help stop an end to this nasty global business. It's like there's already not enough animals that can be eaten, that we have to stoop to dog as well?
Re: Dog Meat Trade Petition
That's a pretty weak argument. What makes a dog less viable for eating than any other animal?BradClark wrote:It's like there's already not enough animals that can be eaten, that we have to stoop to dog as well?
The partition makes some very good arguments, such as dog meat spreading disease etc. I have not taken the time to research if these claims are true or not, but if they are then they are reasonable arguments against it. We could apply the argument "there are other animals that can be eaten instead" to the prevention of eating ANY animal that's currently eaten... until there's only one left that we *can* eat.

Re: Dog Meat Trade Petition
I've signed it and sent the link to my dog-loving UK friends. Even if the trade can't be stopped (which I think would be the case), the centre may get some donations from overseas dog lovers.
