Hi all!
Some abbreviations in the forum sometimes slows my reading since English isn't my natural lingo.
Here's a list of my discoveries along the way, explanations found in Urban Dictionary among other sources and also some obvious conclusions from the content. Hope it may be helpful to newcomers naturally open for additions and corrections.
Aussies = people from Australia
Bangers = Bangkok
Barfine = Charging bar guest for taking "employee" out of bar
Bath = Baht (usually) misspelled thai currency
BB = see Binta
BF = Boyfriend
BIB = Police
Binta, Bintabaht = Soi Bintabaht (main bar street), also spelled Soi Bin Tabac (probably correct)
Bintablock = the area around Soi Bintabaht
Blighty = Britain
BM = Board Member
CC = Compensated Companion
CM = Chiang Mai
CR = Chiang Rai
DM = Don Muang airport, Bangkok
ER = Emergency Room (from an American medical drama television series)
GF = Girlfriend
GFE = Escort relationship acting like a girlfriend
GF hotel = Guestfriendly (hotel, etc friendly to/admitting guest(s) of guest) the establishment will allow and won’t charge any extra to take back an unregistered guest to your room
HK = Hong Kong
IDL = International Driver License
IDP = International Driving Permit
K-Bank = Kasikorn Bank
Kiwis = people from New Zealand
KL = Kuala Lumpur
LB = Ladyboy
LHR = London Heathrow
LOS = Land of Smiles
LT = Long term (could me applied to rental time of house/condo or services including barfine).
MIB = Police
NC = Night Crawler section. Adult part of the forum accessible after ten posts.
MV = Market Village, the huge mall just south of Soi 88, sometimes confused,
abbreviationwise, with VM (Village Market; the supermarket close to the main junction)
NK = North Korea
NC = Night Crawler ("adult" section of the forum demanding ten posts for access)
OP = Original Poster, Opening Poster
Oz = Australia
Patts = Pattaya
Petch = Petchkasem Road. The main road going north-south through Hua Hin.
PKk = Prachuap Kirikhan, the prosvince (changwat) where the district (amphoe) Hua Hin is located. Also name of the capital of the province.
PP = Passport
Scandis = people from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, some also include Finland.
Soi = side-street/alley branching off a the major street (even numbering on west side, odd on east side)
ST = Short term (could me applied to rental time of house/condo or services including barfine).
SK = South Korea
Swampy = Bangkok
TAT = Tourism Authority of Thailand
TIT = This is Thailand
TLC = The Learning Centre (Petchkasem Road)
TOT = an internet service provider
Tessabahn = Communal administration in Hua Hin, at the main junction
Tomboy = Girl posing as a boy
TP = Tourist Police
Twat = bad driver, also american slang for vagina as well as UK slang for idiot
VM = Village Market, the supermarket close to the main junction, sometimes confused, abbreviationwise, with MV (Market Village; the huge mall just south of Soi 88)

Add BG to that, although, it can be a bit confusing, it can refer to me or to a bar girl.
