Hi
Is it true that banks in Thailand prefer you to send dollars/euros rather than Thai Baht for house purchases. Are the lawyers trying to make on the exchange.

You can send whatever currency you want, but if you ever want to try to repatriate your money you need proof that you have sent foreign currency.
