Good news for local taxis as well I'd imagine. I'm not aware of any public transport going anywhere near there.

Will the BluPort facility remain open?

Oh yes. It would be tragic if that went.

Stolen from another forum:-
The GPS coordinates for the new office are 12.553219,99.898742. / 12°33'11.6"N 99°53'55.5"E
Foreigners will need to visit the new office in Thap Thai to apply for or renew their annual marriage or retirement extensions.
However, expats are reminded that 90 day reports and re-entry permits can be completed at the Immigration office located in the basement of BluPort.

Yes, I can vouch for that - a proper little island when it rains.

The map makes no sense to me. What are the names of the roads, other than Soi 88?

Who needs road names when you have google maps and this?handdrummer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 6:51 pm The map makes no sense to me. What are the names of the roads, other than Soi 88?

The main road at the top of the map, heading towards Wat Huay Mongkol is the Palu-U Road. The road heading south to the new office is shown as 2004 on maps. At the other end it meets with Soi112 at the traffic lights and then continues on to Pranburi.handdrummer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 6:51 pm The map makes no sense to me.
