Limelight hotel and guesthouse...still going?

Post by keepitfun »

Hoping to get some on the ground info on this hotel.

I’ve stayed there the past 2 years in March / April and I’ve hit a snag this year. I can’t seem to get any dates around that time that they have available rooms.....has it suddenly become super popular or is something else going on?

The owners were great hosts and the location suits me.

Any intelligence appreciated. Cheers.

I've been told it is under new management. Old owners moved to Cambodia or Vietnam.

I knew the previous owners. Nice people. They were a classic case of people buying a bar/restaurant in Thai without fully understanding the business and problems. They were extremely excited, ambitious and full of plans when they arrived but became disillusioned very quickly.

I know there was a new owner moving in to Limelight ( A Scottish gent who supports Celtic), the previous owners were going on a cruise from Australia around now, I think they were keeping their condo near the airport but I am unable to confirm their plans regarding Cambodia or Vietnam.

Thanks for the reply’s gents, I’ll keep a look out for availability. It may be the changeover messing with the booking sites.
