Tourists abandoned on 'rattlesnake' island!!!

Post by caller »

This story doesn't really make much sense and it appears to have happened last year, but it's in yesterday's Daily Mail, so hey ho! It's the sort of thing papers print on a slow news day, so everyone must be bored of Brexit!

One of the comments say's, 'take their passports away. Not safe to be let out'. :D

Is anyone familiar with that island. Is it within eyesight of Hua Hin central?

I'm thinking what is the snakes main diet on there, unless the rodent population is kept in balance with the snake population. I wouldn't think there is enough sea bird nesting to keep them supplied with eggs/chicks.

Take a look at the link. Several other snake species use tail vibration as a warning/defense it appears.
