FA Cup 2020

Post by PeteC »

A late thread start, but why not? :D

It will be Arsenal vs either Chelsea or Manchester United in the final.

The semi-final starts in 9 hours.

Despite bossing the game in terms of possession, City couldn’t convert chances into goals, so Arsenal have had a very good week - securing a place in the final and depriving Liverpool out of a possible record points tally!!

If Arsenal can maintain their current form it should be a great match. Still think Chelsea will be too much for the Gunners but we can only live in hope.

Yes. Congratulations. A game too far for Chelsea - and the referee.

I am expecting a thrashing when we play Bayern Munich in the Champions league!

So the referee nay have made an error in that second yellow then red, but what about the other yellow cards, 4 against 1, and I suspect the free kick count would have shown Chelsea to be overly "agressive"

In a normal season a real bonus for a lower division or non-league club was to have a draw against a Premier League club
With empty stadiums has that gone this year??

Crowds are being allowed to 'trickle back' into stadiums from next week. Plymouth are being allowed 2,000 fans, but I don't know how that 2,000 is arrived at.
Championship Stoke City 3 - 0 Plymouth Argyle

Points 48; Position 20
