Girl shot dead in Soi 112 Bar

I've only just heard after our pool league game was cancelled tonight.

One of the two girls working at the bar was shot dead last night.

I don't know any more details but will update as I know.

The reports I've read suggest mistaken identity. My first impression of the social media reports is it was a drugs hit that went wrong, but that is pure speculation and me adding 2+2 and getting 5.

Oh god, this was my local watering hole for my first three months of living in Hua Hin. Got to know the owners and staff really well, and they are still my friends. Only one of the original girls still works there and I just confirmed that she’s ok. I actually almost stopped in there for old times sake after visiting a friend last night in Emerald Scenery. Glad I kept going.

This Facebook page has very little more detail than above, other than the victim was known as May, shot in the neck. Killer escaped on PCX. Probably mistaken identity.

My wife is very good friends with Gik and Jay and was called up by Gik yesterday to watch out for the killer. It was a girl, and my wife knows who. She is not sure if police has caught her yet. Apparently came with a guy on a motorbike, went inside and shot the wrong girl. She was supposed to shoot Gik. This is what my wife says. Shocking really!!!

The latest I've heard but it maybe hearsay.
The shooter had an argument with Jay a week ago so he came and shot his bar up. May was collateral damage.
Not sure if they have this guy but they know who he is.

Absolute tragedy, but so many conflicting stories. Ultimately though, a 23 year old girl has lost her life in a bar shooting - incredibly sad.
