I think that might be a bit tricky.

I'd reckon anyone going back to the UK right now would have to do 10 days self-isolation - mind you, better than 10 days lock up and the cost,

I'm more concerned about getting back here to Thailand. That's the point for me.

If anyone manages to get a vaccine passport or whatever from the UK or EU, I hope they post the details here.

Good luck, very interested to hear your experiences. What is written on some website somewhere is pretty much irrelevant until someone has actually proved they can swap a Thai vax cert for a UK/EU one without hassle!

I guess the need for a vaccine certificate is diminishing. I'll be using mine for the 3rd time today, but it does seem to have been a lot of fuss about nothing.

‘Digital Health Pass’ to soon replace vaccine passports in Thailand

Just a different button on Mor Phrom, but a lot less meaningful if the establishment doesn't have a QR Code reader.
Same information, but one involves the sexy scan of a QR Code, Thailand and QR Codes :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: In reality, it means you'll need both.

That's great for entering Thailand - but it won't work for any other country on the planet, which is why there is still a need for an international standard vaccine passport.

Sorry, I mis-read. I thought it was replacing the vaccine certificate, not passport. FFS, they should have one source of info to cover everything. All of these different things holding exactly the same information being used for the same thing - confirming somebody has been vaccinated :?

It sounds a bit like Thai IT :banghead:

I just tried using the Mor Phrom app request form for the yellow vaccination passport.
The plus points are that the form is bilingual and easy to navigate, and there are no issues with attaching copies of passport info page and vaccination certificate. The weakness so far is the vaccine passport is only available for pickup in person at two locations in Bangkok. However, the form does have an option for delivery by post (but this is currently not yet usable).
I decided therefore to wait until closer to the time I actually need to travel

There was no indication by the way of the likely waiting time even with the Bangkok pickup option

Just to clarify, I’m not looking at swapping my vaccination certificate for a UK equivalent, just using the Thai certificate for proof of vaccination for when I return to Thailand in early November. I’m “eagerly” awaiting the updated advice on what I have to do, which has been promised will be issued by the end of this week.

Does it say how long it is valid for?

Then the info published on the Bumrungrad Hospital web site stating 3 month validity that I referenced two days ago, is rubbish. :banghead:
