CBD (Cannabidiol)
If this belongs somewhere else can Mods please move but i searched CBD/Cannabidiol and got nothing back(which slighlty surprised me)
Due a lot of very bad back pain im considering alternative pain killing 'medicines'(traditional Painkillers can trigger my migraines)
I hear good things about CBD in terms of arthritis, joint pain, muscle pain etc
i certainly dont want any Psycho active experiences(THC?) i'll stick to 1 large Leo and a couple of Sangsoms for that!
im looking to learn more about CBD apart from just googling it so if anyone can share any tips id be grateful
in terms of getting it all im told is there a place on Soi 102 that sells it, 300m past Happy Coffee on other side of road going West(a Cannabis clinic???)
thats the limit of my knowledge thus far
TIA

Re: CBD(Cannabidiol)
CBD works for some types of pain, for some people. The only way to know if it will work for you is to try it.
There is no THC in CBD, you won't get high from using CBD.

Re: CBD (Cannabidiol)
I had been considering going to the hospital to get it prescribed for Mrs BB's knee pain. but alas, her breathing problems prevent her from walking too far, so the knee problems have sort of gone away for now.
Personally, I would feel more at ease getting it prescribed by the hospital than chancing something I bought in a local shop. However, if a pucker cannabis clinic, I guess it would be OK.

Is that because you have heard of others getting it prescribed by Doctors at a hospital?Big Boy wrote:I had been considering going to the hospital to get it prescribed for Mrs BB's knee pain. but alas, her breathing problems prevent her from walking too far, so the knee problems have sort of gone away for now.

It would somewhat surprise me if that were the case but, again, I know very little on the subject...

Thanks. Bit like acupuncture. Some people swear by it, but never did anything for me.handdrummer wrote:CBD works for some types of pain, for some people. The only way to know if it will work for you is to try it.

Hua Hin Hospital were pioneers of the treatment in this area, and yes, many good reviews were given.thecolonel wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 11:15 amIs that because you have heard of others getting it prescribed by Doctors at a hospital?Big Boy wrote:I had been considering going to the hospital to get it prescribed for Mrs BB's knee pain. but alas, her breathing problems prevent her from walking too far, so the knee problems have sort of gone away for now.

Clinics are probably fine, but I always have that 'Thailand' fear about not knowing what I am buying regarding medication. I just feel a lot more secure buying medication from a trusted source. On top of that, Mrs BB has a few medical conditions that HHH are fully aware of. I would not want something prescribed that would react badly. I've had that happen already with a well known Hua Hin Hospital and had to rush her to Petchaburi to resolve that very dangerous conflict. The doc in Petchaburi looked at the prescribed medication, and put it straight in the bin.

I will make enquiries, thanks

Hua Hin hospital 3, Soi 89, has a cannabis clinic a couple of times a month. Not sure if it includes CBD or not.

Re: CBD (Cannabidiol)
I take it for my arthritic hip (waiting for a replacement) and find it helps. Can't help as to where best to get in Hua Hin as I'm back in UK where it is readily available.

According to HHH1, HHH3 is currently for covid quarantine only
Assuming she fully understood my query( re back pain and CBD) and that I understood her response then...
She advised to attend Orthopedic walk in clinic at HHH1 on Wednesdays at 5pm onwards and see a Specialist Doctor
She said the General Doctor cannot prescribe CBD

Re: CBD (Cannabidiol)
If anyone is up at Hua Hin Hospital????
I'm keen to find out the cost of CBD, but yes once prescribed by hospital Doc and then dispensed at HHH pharmacy
I know I can buy privately 900mg(30ml) of CBD oil which will last 30 days as recommended dose is 1 ml per day. This will cost 1250 baht online. This is a typical quantity for 1 bottle
As I say I'd be interested to know how much the HHH pharmacy charges for that if anyone is up there getting medicine I'd appreciate it if you could ask them
I will then add in the Doctor fees(Orthopedic in my case) and compare price
TIA

The problem with buying it online is that you don't know if it's genuine or what the strength is. There's a lot of fake everything online.thecolonel wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 6:53 pmThanksBig Boy wrote:Probably too late now, but I saw this poster yesterday:

If you've not noticed anything in 3 weeks, either it's not genuine, not strong enough or you're not taking enough.
