Probably as yesterday was a bank holiday there might be some delay Image

Ok thanks, it’s just that I have experienced same day approval in the past e.g. on 2/2/22 I applied at 11.12 am and it was approved at 11.42 just 30 minutes later!!

Surprisingly enough, since it was a national holiday, I got my approval on the Monday itself. Someone working a bit of overtime?

Its one of the many things in Thailand that is totally unnecessary.

Hopefully, a new forward-thinking government won't keep forcing those nasty aliens to report to the Gestapo every three months for no reason whatsoever other than maintaining a sense of power and control over them ... and giving a few govt workers something to do.

That said, the online system actually works now ... just begs the question ... why?

Aside from the relative absurdity of most of what we have to do, my visit to the new office at Cha Am on Thursday reinforced the view of absolute power the immigration officials like to display - they couldn’t care less about keeping people waiting for no legitimate reason, in the knowledge that anyone brave/stupid enough to complain is likely to face immediate problems and in the future with a marker put against their name!!

I believe the Move Forward party have got a pledge to remove the 90 day reporting as well as a general farang friendly outlook (there was an article in HH News). However given the army are up all day and night to find a reason to expel them, don't hold your breath.

My approval arrived at 8-00 pm tonight! I think they must be using some cache software that posts them once a certain number has accumulated.

They definitely wouldn’t have been working at that time of day!!

Anyone else having an issue with the online reporting?

I've done this 4 times before

This time the Captcha feature is not working so I can't log in

Entered my password correctly 5 times - no Captcha, no log in

Yes I know I can go to Bluport but wondered why the error?

TIA
