Question: Is the Petchaburi Immigration office open at all on Saturdays or Sundays? Looked for a post or announcement of Immigration office hours and couldnt find it.

Fairly certain the answer is no - definitely closed on Sundays and almost certain it’s the same for Saturday

Edit. Just looked at their website for making appointments and they only offer Mon-Fri.

I just did my 90 day renewal online, after receiving an automated reminder on Sunday just gone. I whisked off the TM47 five minutes later and received confirmation it had been received. Last time I received the authrorised reply the next day. This time it took until late yesterday afternoon. I was beginning to think they had forgotten about it!

I've reported online for years, but the service now has a problem it seems.

My report last week was rejected, the email telling me so quoted: 'incomplete information provided'. I tried again yesterday and again rejected, no reason given this time. My reporting date is next week.

I filled in the form with all the data requested, as I always do. But I see when it automatically prints the TM.47 it will file that the fields asking method of arrival (eg.air) and Arrival card number are blank. That information is not even requested on the online form. Never had been. Maybe this is the reason for rejection, who knows, all other fields have been completed correctly by me.

I've never had this issue before and now must queue at the Immigration Office this coming week to file, where no doubt they will shrug their shoulders at the online problem...

Any others having issues last week?

I did it online last week. It was approved after a couple of days. The TM-47 that it produced has a space for the arrival card number, but it is blank. That wasn't asked for in the online form.

One thing interesting is that I was able to use Safari on a Mac for the first time ever. Previously I've had to use Chrome. My wife, who does a lot of Immigration work, including online stuff, always uses Chrome.

Yep, that's as I said. Don't know what's wrong with my application then. Thanks.

I've checked my problem and now see that the first 90 day extension after leaving the country must be at an immigration office, not online. I'm sure I knew this but it's been a while since I flew overseas. Heigh ho!

I went to Australia last year in May and did the subsequent 90 Day report online. I just looked at the online receipt. I did the report, online, on July 11th last year.

Has the rule changed since then?

Same here, I returned to Thailand in early September last year and did a 90 day online report on 29th November.

Likewise, have done it online after returning. The two systems (online and manual/immigration) do not appear to be linked/connected so you can even do the online report when you're not in the country!

So, even more weird then. I read this morning on another forum that you can't, but I have a feeling that I did it online last time I returned too, although I can't remember. In that case there seems no explanation then why my attempt last week was twice rejected.

Thanks for the input guys.
