Shipping books to the US by surface

Post by billseymour »

I need to ship some moderately valuable hardback books to the east coast of the US (about 120 volumes). There is no rush, so surface transportation would be fine.

Can anyone suggest a shipping agent or company that might perform this service.

Check out:
Thai Air and Express Courier
114/23 Petchkasem Road, Hua Hin
Phone: 032-516120-1
I had docs sent via courrier from there, relatively cheap -might not need courrier in your case, but they could probably give you some alternative

Many thanks for the tip, elem.

Can you please give me some idea of the location -- ie north or south of the post office, etc -- I find that driving along Phetkasem and trying to read shop numbers at the same time is bad for my health.

It's just South of the Satukarn square lights, on the same side as the Municipality (Tessadban) building, Satukarn Square etc. Has a lot of yellow & red in the frontage :)
