Every experience is different - I don’t know how his prices compare to others but in terms of care and treatment I was totally satisfied with the way I was treated.

"Every experience is different."

Not really, a consultation with a urologist is pretty similar wherever you are in the world. There is not much local specialisation in terms of anatomy! ;-)

So, to be recommended if you you do not give two hoots about the price?

How did you feel sat outside in the sun on a plastic stool for two hours with a rag tag of other catheter patients?
It is shame that the place is not even big enough to have a proper waiting room and everybody has to plat musical chairs all morning.

I don’t know why you’re being so aggressive to me, all I’ve said was that I was happy with the service I received.

I normally get to his surgery soon after opening and they have about 8-10 seats inside the air conditioned room - sure it’s not the last word in luxury, but I’ve seen worse!!

And regarding pricing, of course I’m all for value for money, but I needed a fairly urgent operation for an Inguinal hernia and I was far more concerned about getting that done properly (which is what I got), than looking to see if I could save a few thousand baht traipsing around the various hospitals/clinics.

By all means state your experience but don’t question mine!!

My apologies, no aggression intended?

Were you intentionally poor-shaming me with your throwaway about prices?

I wasn’t aware I’d said anything about “poor—shaming” you about prices!!

As a slight aside, when I mentioned to my regular pharmacy in Cha Am that I had used Dr Wittaya for hernia surgery, she told me that he was one of the best urologists in the area - maybe that’s why he might be a bit more expensive than elsewhere?
