It’s all gone rather quiet - England need another 2 wickets, the Aussies need 68 runs

It’s all over as Broad takes the last wicket!!

If I’m honest, before start of play this morning I thought the only chance England had of avoiding defeat was the weather - so pleased to have been proved wrong.

What an amazing end to an amazing series! I don't mind admitting I had a tear in my eye at the end. I'd almost lost hope when the Aussies were 260-odd for 3, but every match in this series had had its twists and turns. Well done, lads!
This is the way

Whilst I only saw highlights and kept up with live updates on the BBC, I did find the series enthralling - a welcome surprise being that I've not exactly been the most avid of supporters since the days of Botham, Gower, Willis et al. :thumb:

"Almost" the perfect end for Broad then..... A six with the last bowl with the bat, and the final wicket with his (and the) final bowl of his final test..... How different it could have been but for the British weather!

Seems Ali has also jumped on the bandwagon and announced that this was also his final test match.
