Restaurants, food, beverage, hawkers, and local markets and suppliers. This is the place for discussion on Hua Hin's culinary options.

Coffee shops with newspapers

Post by tonymaroni »

One of the things I like to do. Reading the Bangkok post with a cup.

Starbucks used to have papers but alas no more. A carryover from covid times I guess.

Centara hotel has in the museum, but have to get there before someone takes them home. Funny I stayed there before and everyroom had one delivered in the am.

Even the paper seller runs out quite quick who is near night market area.

Thanks
Tony

The Oasis, bar/restaurant, in Khao Takiab (opposite Seacraze) has the Bangkok Post available each day and usually Hua Hin Today. They do a very good English breakfast as well.....

I might try that for lunch sometime, is it open to anyone and any dress code?

Pattys Corner near the railway station next to the 711 has a Bangkok Post for customers to read.

Yes open to anyone, no particular dress code as golfers are coming in sweaty and with shorts and flip flops.

Just walk in and go up the big staircase. Some interesting historical photos and things to read on the way up.
The bar / restaurant is open air ( with a roof ) with views of the course.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a try when I'm back in town.

I bet the Hua Hin Today is about 7 months out of date. Just about everything I read about in there has already been and gone.
