Based on the report of last nights game, Man Utd are a bunch of overpaid wasters, with a manager getting ever close to a big payout!!

Granted they've had a fair few injuries, but—

With the hammerings, the lack of identity, the hundreds of millions Ten Hag wasted on rubbish, the stadium falling to bits, the off-field drama...

A good run of results is needed or it's going to get pretty ugly.

Really? I always see it on TV and am very impressed. Has it done anything safety wise to reduce the stadium's capacity? Such a shame (genuinely).

This article is from a couple year's ago now. Ronaldo said he was shocked on his return that nothing had been updated since he left.

'Rusty and rotting' Old Trafford has seen mice on the pitch, a leaky roof and a £200m renovation rejected... Furious fans say the Glazers have left Manchester United's iconic stadium in decay.'

From an article this year...

'Potential Manchester United buyers are reportedly being put off by the astronomical cost of repairs needed at the club's creaking Old Trafford ground'.

They werent even close to being included as a selected stadium for the Euro's. that honour went to City

I can't remember what loss at Old Trafford it was, but very recent, when Gary Neville was filmed in the gantry, and someone pointed out to him the rain pouring through the stadium roof behind him.

I suppose it must be 16 years since I last visited. I guess its like an old friend you haven't seen for 16 years. They look similar, but not the same person you knew 16 years ago.

The last time I went was longer ago than that, and it was a dump then! But that was before the now old, stadium expansion.

I remeber the loo in the stand we were in, which was shared with United fans, with just a standard wire fence separating the two. That was fun - not! :D

I went there one time to watch Plymouth in the FA Cup. No segregation whatsoever that time, and admission was 6d (2.5p for the kids) cheaper than Home Park.

Showing my age

Actually, it was more likely to have been 1973, so my brain was probably still working in old money :D

Opposing fans are certainly enjoying the Old Trafford experience anywho. 😬

It is criminal how little money the glazers have put into the stadium the past ten years or so, though. Only behind Madrid and Barcelona (in football, a dozen or so American sports teams are more valuable than all of them) as the most valuable teams according to Forbes 2022 fiscal year. Can see why fans dislike the Glazers.

From 2021:

United have spent £118m on their stadium in the last 11 years whereas Liverpool have spent £278m, City £374m and Tottenham £1.4bn.
