Re: Android TV box
Is he not fussed about Android version, processor, connections (how many USB ports, HDMI, SD card slot), LAN port, etc.? Lazada is the best way to browse. I use mine as much to play files from an external drive as I do for IPTV. If he really can't wait I would have thought you should get one in Market Village or Bluport because my son has before (in Bluport). Banana at MV didn't have one last time I looked a few months ago though.
Re: Android TV box
I have a few 'quality' android boxes for sale if you need one in a hurry.
There are a lot of substandard android boxes on lazada.
I have 'Mecool KM7' boxes for sale.
PM if interested.

Re: Android box UK
Hi
I nave had an android box in the UK and a VPN is not necessary but advisable. Be advised a VPN will slow the internet access down but will a good connection it is no problem. The boxes can be bought easily on Amazon and Ebay.
Regards

Re: Android TV box
I know a lot of people buy a 'loaded' Android box ready to illegally watch streaming services and IPTV. You won't get these on Amazon, etc. I think. I don't know much about this as I only use my box for connecting to my IPTV service and watching files I have downloaded myself. If I need to replace my box (soon I think, it's old) I will research online and buy online. My IPTV is UK based and I can give you details if he wants, it's a very good one and includes PPV events. Seventy quid a year for everything, less for selected services (eg. sport only).
Re: Android TV box
if you need one in Thailand, you can Q8 boxes from market village for 1800 baht
these are very good boxes and have a app on them called "Cherry tv", it is basically a app that is a clone of mytvonline ( very good app)
if based in the UK , you are better off installing vu player pro, directly onto a smart tv (lg/samsung)
but if you really want a good box, you can get Q8 boxes from ebay for around 45-55 gbp.
I pay for a sub each year and since moving to the Q8 box , it just feels better due to the cherry app

How is the vpn aspect dealt with? Is it an app on the box or can you put it in the smart TV?

Re: Android TV box
he does not need a vpn, most decent 1ptv services will run without one,
if he does not have a box and wants to get it running on a samsung/lg smart tv it is very easy
if he wants a box as explained in previous post go to ebay and get a Q8 box with cherry app, its the dogs conkers
