Shocking internet access

Post by buksida »

Has anyone else noticed a significant degradation in internet access over the past week or so? I have tried from several locations in Hua Hin using several different providers including CS Loxinfo leased line services, CAT and TOT ADSL services and a couple of dialups.

Each one has been extremely poor (compared to just poor as they usually are).

Either something is broke somewhere or this could be a sign of things to come now with the Sporeans at the helm of this countries information and technology infrastructure.

Jockey, the afternoon has not yet finished so therefore " it is bad" please, we do not want groups of schoolchildren talking incorrectly in Market Village. Clive.

You ain't alone guys. It's over here also, both dial up and broadband. And...it's in Udom Thani (Udorn) and....it's in Rayong. Something is cooking country wide it appears.

BK can address this better than I can but regardless of your ISP, I think a combination of TOT and CAT control all of the actual "outbound", meaning the final step before the data goes up into space.

These companies say they are merging, and many other statements that change weekly. Elections are close, is someone fooling around with people's ability to stay informed or, is it something to do with the merger of the powerhouses who control all communicatins here? God only knows, and he is probably confused also. Pete
