Sorry, can the guys who have put their names down for the tickets, please confirm that they definitely want them? (That's Norseman, JD, JW and friends and Dr Dave - no need to confirm Terry & Barrys, as you've paid already  )

I'm sorry to be a pain, but the restaurant are pushing me for definite numbers, so all I can do is try & give them definite numbers till now & guesstimate how many others might want to come. :|

If anyone else wishes to come, can you please let me know asap, so I can keep the venue happy? Thank you. Still some tickets left, so get them while you can! :D

A few more items have been donated:

Dusit Hotel has donated 2 buffet meals for two on any of their speciality dinner buffets.

Hilton Hotel has also donated a dining experience, will give more details when I have them.

Also have an unspecified donation from Hyatt Regency, will get it tomorrow & post details.

Surf 102.5 FM have donated a very interesting experience. The winning bidder will get the chance to have a playlist of 15 songs played on Surf 102.5FM. The winner can choose when the songs get played, and during which DJ's show (wonder if anyone would bid to have a certain Soul Monsta play all Eagles' songs...?  ) If the top bidder chooses, he/she can also go into the studio and talk about their choices with the DJ on air, like a sort of "Desert Island Discs".

So, looks like we're getting a good list of items together for the auction. Remember, HHAD members can also bid on the forum, as long as they promise to cover their bid if they win...

I'll keep your tickets on the door, Norseman. For all HHAD members (as you're making up tables) the price is the discounted price of 1,350 per ticket.

Glad we'll see you, too villa-boy & thanks for your help with advertising the do. :thumb:

Well, you've all heard Dr Dave, big bids please for Dr Dave to play the Eagles

If I bid from afar and win, can I play opera, some Yanni new age or, perhaps Country and Western Issan style? :D Pete

You can have them play any 15 tracks you want ( as long as they're not offensive, I'd imagine!)

That's right, any 15 tracks to be played at any time, by any DJ - but if you really want to have fun with the prize, making Dr Dave play The Eagles has got to be top choice!

The winning bidder can come into the studio and intoduce the tracks and be interviewed as they're played, a but like 'desert island discs' (if you're British you'll know what that is).

If I win I'm afraid it's going to be Floyd (Syd Barrett), and some New stuff (Digweed and Sacha)

Maybe an odd George Harrison one as well!!! (backed by elton, eric, ringo, phil and a few more famous names!!!!
