Thai TV in Oz

We enjoy watching the free to air Thai Global Network tv broadcasts via the Optus satellite here in Perth, Western Austrllia.
The live news and current affairs is great to watch along with all the usual froth and bubble of Thai tv.
But we have a regular problem some days with speech and pic out of sync. We are told it is an issue at our end of the system.
Do any other viewers have this problem?

Would suggest that you get the Optus people out, show them exactly what is wrong as see if they can fix it.
I would advise that, as if you ring the help desk, you are liable to be speaking to someone in India, who will not understand one thing about what your problem is.

Did you know that Optus is owned by the same Singaporian company that bought Shin Corp from Thaksin? It was in the news.

Last I heard was that the coward was "sitting pretty" in London.
I didn't realise there was an Aussie connection.

Maybe I should have been a little more observant- I have to admit my Thai is not so brilliant- but maybe the system is doubling as an information conduit to the poor soul as ,I believe, his cell phone is down -he probably now has to pay his own bills!
