Gaybob your a gem and even though your young you have the wisdom of someone half your age. It would be a pleasure to meet you and become another one of your mates you could be proud of. I have 2 GCSE's in woodwork and metalwork. :D

Have I missed something? Why are you all being so rude and mean spirited to a newcomer? :?

Sorry didn't realise it was something so serious. I am used to those kind of tricks as a Huddersfield town supporter. Stop laughing!

Let Gayboy stew

Not worth the rant

We that have lived here know (sorry, think we know) the name of the game and there is no mileage in telling a tourist what to do. After all we don't know what will happen tomorrow

Waiting for the 'know it all flack'

Estate agents???? Use HHAD recommended the rest are crap and crooks

Sorry Gayboy/girl but despite you having loads of dosh you are still on a learning curve. Best you take SOUND advice before opening your mouth

NOBODY EVER LEARNT ANYTHING WHILST THEIR MOUTH WAS OPEN and that is coming from a Yorkshireman

   :)

For goodness sake, were you lot bored last night, or something? Or did all your teams lose? Let's face it, it's hardly the first time that a newbie has asked a question that has been asked 1,000 times before. Yes, he should have checked further; done a search, checked FAQ's, but so should everyone who asks about the weather or if they can get a room in April  You usually either answer them civilly or ignore them.

Apologies, Gaybob. It might help to search a little further into the site. I can assure you, your questions have been asked & answered before. Also I would agree with one poster (Richard) who suggested using one of HHAD's property sponsors. Welcome, belatedly to HHAD. :P 8)

Gaybob as dawn says do a search check the FAQs and you would find this is probably THE most discussed single issue on this board it is in the light of the present govts policys one of the most contentious issues also.
I also come from the fact that before i posted on this website i read approx 90% of all posts ever posted it took me almost a week as yours is a single issue a short search or a read of the property section would have given you 90% of the answer to your question you would also have by the time you had read them all given a similar reaction as i BB and VS did
I would also point out that posting your question without a search or reading the FAQs is insulting our inteligence

So if a company does not advertise on here they are crooks ? What a pathetic thing to say. The most respected estate agents in town are not sponsonrs on here.

I'm not having a go at HHAD here, as it's an exellent website, but come on Richard, at least think for a second before you post.

PS: I'm not an estate agent.

Ok Burger

But you don't know they are crooks until you've lost your money and I know many that have. Guess research is the answer. My message and I admit it may have been wrongly worded, was to go for reputable people and do your market research

Ok, PM me with details of who has been ripped by the main Estate Agent in town.
I've just PM'd his company to you now and will look into it as he is a good friend of mine.

More to the point. Isn't Gaybob the name of a horse? Didn't it win the Grand National some time in the seventies?
