Have the Fun Police got me?

Post by Big Boy »

I've been unable to access HHAD whilst at work here in the UK this week. Has the site been undergoing some maintenance, or have the work's Fun Police caught me and blocked the site?

I was able to access other Thailand sites such as Bangkok Bank, and even Hua Hin Pool League.

Any ideas please? Its not much fun having to actually do some work during working time!

No problem here in sunny CA, and HHAD IS a good work diversion!! Maybe it is just too rainy, grey, and cold in the UK for things to work right.

P.S. Only 48 days till touch down in BKK

Its probably your work IT BB. Internet access where I work is restricted for most. Obviously, as best they can they block porn sites, chat rooms, gambling sites etc. We have recently had enhanced security loaded up where I am.

The team I manage sometimes has to deal with the flip side of what people access and what they do with it, its led to dismissals and in one case someone being reported to the Child protection teams.

Funnily enough, my team have unrestricted access bar one site which exposed senior officers salaries - had to view that at home!!

If it wasn't abused, it wouldn't be a problem!

It's been very intermittent here in Devon - HHAD has been inaccessible most of the time for the past week.

Makes you wonder whether the often criticised work ethic of our hosts is entirely justified

Ooops! So did the Understudy. He sms-ed me while I was at the center about it & I forgot to get back to him. Not that I knew anything about it, anyway. If you're reading this, Understudy, a thousand apologies!

Just works and upgrading of the net in the Krung Tep region.
I heard it had something to do with the earthquake outside Taiwan some time ago.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.
