I should know the answer to this but I don't, mainly because the units in this house don't have any manuals.

The remote control for some of these LG units has an inner set of control buttons underneath the front cover. One of these buttons says "Dry".

Now, does that mean if the air is too dry in the room by pushing that button you get more humidity, or the opposite that when you activate it you get less humidity? Thanks. Pete :cheers:

Pete,
My Fujitsu book says
DRY: Use for gently cooling while dehumidifying your room.
The fan speed cannot be changed manually.
You only live once.
