Over the past couple of months there have been numerous threads that are to put it mildly slanderous and on a number of occassions downright abussive. People have posred genuine questions only to have themselves slagged of by numerous other posters. I understand that rightly so you cannot be held libalase for a post on this forum as this is clearly stated in the terms and conditions. However to protect the innocent I would suggest that all posters should be made to identify there true selves via a PM if requested this would do away with 95% on the nonsensical aqusations being made, as in the maygority of cases these are made by cowards who hide behind false names.
If you have a genuine gripe why should you be afraid to identify yourself.

Its too easy for people to be abusive and say what they like when hiding behind a pseudonym on the internet.
The rules are there for a reason - to stop slander and abuse by parties with ulterior motives.

Lev understand what you are saying but the rules aint working. Someone is going to get hurt one day for posting shit on this site. I dont particularly care what people say about me or other people as long as it is true. Its the nature of the beast, this is why we have rules and regulations to protect ourselves. We try to uphold them as best we can but there will always be some people that are disgruntled. You can't please everyone.

It would be good if you could answer the question put by Split ID. I have been away from the forum until about two weeks ago so have missed a lot. There are quite a lot on new posters and some of the old regulars are not around at the moment.
As Lev says it is the nature of the beast. Many of us have been victims of abusers. Some of them are just anonymous users out to amuse themselves but some of them, are vindictive and have gripes that began outside of the forum.
A lot of the regulars know each other and what may seem like abuse to an outsider may be just a bit of aggressive jesting.

The reason Im answering publicly is quite simple. I have PM d both parties and neither either has the guts or balls to PM back. Back to my original point "COWARDS".
Yes I have had a six month delay in starting my project. This is due to Thai burackracy (spelt wrong) as regards the need to be obtained paperwork to start a development of this type. The paperwork is nearly complete. Unlike SOME other developers I wish to comply with Thai law not flaunt it.
AS regards to dodgy land tittles im sure the land office will clarify that we are the owners.
Now this may be interesting to you. Ex-pat Sally real names Shelia and Debs did pay a 750,000 THB deposit and were refunded in full within 48 hours of asking for a refund.
AS regards to the other 13 customers who paid deposits not one has requested any sort of refund nor been denied one. Two customers have been flown from Europe at our exspense (including accomadation) so that we can fully explain the circumstances surrounding our development. Neither cancelles there house.
So my gripe is simple, I would ask splitlid to identify the parties whom have paid deposits and cannot get a refund. Suprisingly! im not exspecting a response.
