As a public service announcement. Both Sampanh and Thanasin auto insurance companies have been ordered by the government to suspend operations and submit a business rehabilitation plan to the government.

Article stated that they are still accepting claims but, but, but....no indication when and if they will be paid. There was mention of the "traffic accident vicitms fund" if unable to receive compensation.

Seems these two companies insure around 2 million motorists here.

If you are covered by either of these companies, I would go talk to your agent for a clear explanation of what's happening. Pete :cheers:
