I may have asked this question or made this suggestion before.
Could the latest posts be the one that show first when you click on a particular section.
It would even be better that the page opens at the newest reply so that we can read from that point to the very latest.
Hope you don't mind that suggestion. Its just that when searching for information it is sometimes time consuming to have to start at say 2006 entries first and then make your way from there.

thehamok,
Its already there available for you to use. If you look at the extract below:
You will see that at the end of each subject, there is a small white page with a corner folded - to make it easy for you, I've circled each one. If you click on the page, it will automatically take you to the last posting.

Or, on the forum Index page, click 'View posts since last visit' (top right hand side), that will give you a page detailing all the topics in which there have been posts since last time you visited & who made the very last one. If you click on the page icon next to that person's name, you will see the last post in that topic.

All very useful info, but I do think it would be more logical for posts to automatically come up with most recent first.
They do if you follow what BB has written, the "view posts since last visit" thing is the easiest way to read the latest stuff without having to wade through all the other posts.

Re: Latest Posts First
You mean the most recent at the top of the thread & the OP at the end? But, then you'd be reading a thread that was new to you, backwardsmargaretcarnes wrote:All very useful info, but I do think it would be more logical for posts to automatically come up with most recent first.

You've got a point there Dawn! The format is still much better than a work related forum I use, which doesn't alert you to new posts. I always forget which topic I'm supposed to be following and end up trolling through the lot
