hello ex pats
1 year ago i bought some land 30 year lease ,under thai PERSON NAME
now i want to change thai person name, what can i expect in regard to
costs :cheers:

Is the land chanote or the lease in the Thai persons name. Go to the land department with both Thai persons, have the ones whose name it is in sign it over to the other Thai person. You pick up the cost and it gets changed. But will it be considered a sale or what for tax purposes? You need to provide more info to get a very definitive answer.

However if the one whose name you put it into originally does not want to sign you are up the creek without a paddle.

Of course a lot of this depends on what the lease actually says. What is the advantage to the one signing it away

If you are just switching girlfriends I think you may have a problem. :cheers:

Yes..Is it lease? If yes ..why you not transfer in to your own name.

Possible the transfer is to his GF or Thaiwife
