Bird Lovers: Bird needs rescue

Cat brought home a fledgling black/brown bird. Looks like it will be a large one. Huge "feet" long beak; palm of hand size now. No puncture wounds.

It needs a home or what to do???

any bird rescurers in town?

I've reared/rescued a few birds over the years so I would be willing to give it a home if you want. Most often they can be released once they are old enough but I have had a few that decided they were happy to stay as part of the family...lol.

You can just pm me if you'de like me to take on the job.

Well, we're certainly not professionals but we would be willing to take care of the poor creature down here.

We have a lot of birds here and they've started nesting around the house and even in the tree in the centre of our small restaurant!.
